Course Code PT 07: Erisilk production
altThe people usually throw cassava leaves away... This is an unique course designed by HRPC experts to utilize cassava leaves (and castor leaves as well) to feed silkworm in order to generate additional income for the poors in the moutainous areas where cassava leaves are always abundant. HRPC worked as Consultant for Asia Development Bank (ADB) and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to develop Erisilk in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
